As they entered the hospital, they went to the Medical Directors office. He welcomed them and told them to have their seats.
After listening to Mr. George and examining their birth certificates and saw his signature, he called one of the receptionists and told her told call Head of Midwifery. She was the oldest Midwife in the hospital and had risen to her current position with diligence and consistency.
When the Head of the Midwifery came into the doctors office and saw the people in his office, she knew that karma had happened to her.
She greeted them whilst trying to comport herself. The doctor asked her if she could remember Mrs. George, she told herself that she would deny remembering her but when she saw recognition in Mrs. Georges eyes, she knew she would be doomed if she denied remembering her.
She was silent.
“Do you recognize this face?” the doctor asked again.
“Sssiiirrr, I cccaaannn eeexxxppplllaaaiiinnn…” She stuttered.
“Okay, we are listening…” The doctor replied.
