After dinner, I cleared the table, did the dishes and tidied the kitchen. When I was done, I sat on the sofa to relax and see a movie before going to bed. About an hour later, Bee joined me.

“So about Jake… you know you never really told me about him” she said with a grin on her face.

“Really?” I asked.

“Yeah really.”

“I thought I did.”

“Obviously you didn’t; else we won’t be having this conversation” she challenged.

“Oh yes! I just remembered. The only thing I told you was that I had someone.” I replied.

“So tell me about him; how did you two meet?…” she said.

“Remember the trip I told you about? The one I spent at Dianne’s?” I asked.

“Yes, I remember” she answered.

“Well, when we arrived…”

I went on the tell her about my arrival, how we met and how we starting dating.

“Awwnnn! That’s one lovely story.” She said.

“Of course it is and it’s lovelier that it’s mine.” I responded as I blushed.

“What about Travis then?” She asked.

“What about him?” I asked.
