“So who is ready for Church?” Pop asked as he picked the keys and was exiting the house.

We all followed suite.

Church was splendid. The hymn Amazing Grace was beautifully sung by the Choir. As they sung, I had goose bumps and felt like I was the only one in Church for a sec. Whilst the Preacher was dissecting the Word, I stole a quick glance at Jake. He seemed like one who was catching lots of rhema – another plus.

After service, we went about doing the usual After Church Greeting.

“Good morning Pastor M.” I greeted.

Morning Charis; how do you do?” Pastor M responded and asked.

“I am doing well; it was a mind blowing sermon today.” I answered.

“Oh! God be praised.” He replied.

“Good morning Pastor M.” Travis greeted.

“Drake?” He asked.

“Yap.” Travis answered.

“So good to see you. How are you doing?”

“Same here, Pastor. I am doing good Sir.”

“How’s your dad?”

“He’s good.”

“My warm regards to him when you return.”

“Of course I will Pastor.”

“Pastor M, this is Jake.” I introduced.

I watched as they both exchanged pleasantries and communicated like they had known each other.
