“Not long ago. I kept it on the bed. Chad picked it up and now he can’t remember where he put it.” She answered.

“Okay, Chad, darling, you picked it, right?” I asked.

“Uhun but I dropped it.” He responded.

“Wait. Could it be a pink-coloured Bible? I asked.

“Yes, it is!” she responded and asked, “Where did you see it?”

“on the dining table.” I said.

Chad and Chelsea looked at each other and sprinted out of the room. I followed.

“Easy! Easy!! No one wants to fall down like Jack and Jill” I yelled as they ran down the stairs without caution.

“Found it!!!” Chelsea screamed.

“No, I found it first!” Chad screamed back.

“It’s fine; it doesn’t matter who found it first” I said.

“But I did.” Chad reiterated.

“Okay. Where is your Bible, Chad?” I asked.

“Well, Momma says no Bible for me till I am Chelsea’s age.” He responded.

“Oh. No worries. You are getting there.” I assured.

“Yay!” Chad exclaimed like he had just been gifted a toy.
