Episode 100
“Rise and shine!” I said as I shook the sleep away from Jake’s body.
“No… I wanna sleep some more…” he mumbled as he adjusted.
“Maybe later but right now, we’ve got to get ready for church.” I replied as I walked away.
Set to wake Travis as well. I didn’t bother to knock cos the Travis I know could sleep on water.
“Wake up!” I shouted into his ear.
Travis jolted back to the land of the living.
“I’m sorry.” I apologized immediately I saw his reaction.
“It’s fine.” He responded.
“Good morning” I greeted.
“Morning dear” he replied.
“We’ve got to get ready for church.” I said with urgency in my voice.
“but church is for 9 a.m. or has the service time changed?” he asked as he stood up.
“You remember. No, it hasn’t but it’s past 7 right now.” I answered.
“Okay but I didn’t come with a change of cloth.” He said whilst heading out of room.
“What were you expecting?” I asked as a tagged along.
“Expecting as in?” he asked.
“Did you plan to just come, spend the night and return at dawn?” I asked.
“What do you expect me to wear to church?” he asked.
“I dunno; clothe?” I responded.
