I had a wonderful time at the resort; their hotel services were top-notch. I felt as free as a bird. I chose not to worry about anything and have the time of my life. I won’t bore you with all I did there since the focus is on Derrick. I returned from the trip a different person.
About a month later, I decided to pay Josh a surprise visit at School. After spending some time in his dorm, I decided to take a walk with him through his Faculty. I was replying a message Quinn sent to me whilst we walked and talked. I observed that he greeted somebody. When I heard the person’s response, I had to look up cos that voice sounded familiar…
“No way!” I interrupted.
She gave me an austere stare.
“Sorry Aunt. Continue please.” I apologized.
“…I had to look up. When I did, I froze. I could hear my pulse.
“Mum?” Josh called out.
I struggled to come back to Earth.
“Mmm?!” I mumbled.
“Meet my Dean – Mr Derrick.” Josh said.
“Hmmm… we meet again.” Derrick said.
“You two know each other?” Josh asked.
