“I am sorry about that; I should have called earlier but I had to do some unpacking.” I replied.
“It is okay; your eyes look dreamy. You should get some sleep.” He suggested.
“Yes I would. I wanted to speak with you first.” I said.
“Awwn! That’s why you are my lady.” He teased.
“Are you still at the office?” I asked.
“Yes I am. There’s a project presentation slide that I am working on. I want to finish it before I go home.” He answered.
“It’s fine; don’t stay out too long.” I said and closed my eyes.
“Yes, Your Majesty.” He replied.
Immediately I heard his response, I opened my eyes. This made him chuckle. I love to see him chuckle. He looks even sweeter.
SWEETNESS OVERLOAD!!!
“Okay.” I said and smiled lightly.
“Let me watch you sleep while I work. I’ll mute the call to avoid any disturbance from my end and hang up when you are fast asleep.” He said.
“Alright.” I replied.
He blew a kiss and I did same. Then he mute the call.
Minutes later, I dozed off when I couldn’t stall the sleep any further.
I was awoken by a tap on the door.
