“How are you doing sweetie?” She asked.
“I am fine Bee and you?” I asked.
“I am good too.” She replied.
“That is good to know. How are the kids?” I asked.
“They’re fine. They are here. Come and say hello to Cee.” She said.
“Hello Cee!” They screamed in unison.
My ears!!!
I was glad to see them again after a long time.
“How are you doing?” I asked.
“We are fine.” They answered.
“When are you coming?” Chelsea asked.
“Yes, when are you coming? We miss you!” Chad added.
I felt something I couldn’t explain.
“Awwnnn! I miss you too. I’ll be home in… three weeks? Yes, three weeks.” I answered.
“Yay! Ceecee is coming home.” They said.
“I want to talk to you about something but it could wait till I’m home.” I said.
“No! Don’t do that. Okay, just give me a hint.” She said.
“I’ve got someone.” I said and hung up immediately.
