“Give me a minute and I will call you on Skype.” He answered and hung up.
I increased my pace, entered the house and sprinted up the stairs, tossed my handbag on the bed and turned on my laptop.
“Hello Cutie” I said as I picked his call.
“Hello Beautiful.” He responded.
“Your tie is lovely. I love your suit too.” I said.
“Awwn! Thanks love. It means a lot to me.” He replied.
“Anytime honey.” I answered.
“You also got a lovely dress on.” He complimented.
“Thank you.” I replied.
“Breakfast?” He asked.
“Uhum!” I responded and asked, “You?”
“Yeah, I had a cup of coffee and I am cool with that for now.” He replied.
“Copy-cat.” I teased.
Whilst we spoke about our schedule for the week, I heard a tap on his door…
“Sweetie, can we talk much later?” he asked.
“Of course, Sugar; take care of you.” I answered and hung up.
I lay in bed thinking about what to do… since nothing was coming, I decided to call Dianne on Skype.
