“Oh! I’m sorry” he apologized.
“Probably, I should just stop then.” I continued yelling.
“I just said I was sorry.” He replied.
“It’s okay.” I responded.
“So I am listening.” He said.
“Okay, so…” I continued.
I went on to tell him how Jake and I met, and began dating.
“Dianne sounds interesting” he said.
“Oh yes! She is. I am sure that you would fall in love with her when you see her.” I responded.
“That’s interesting! ” He exclaimed.
“What’s interesting about that?” I asked.
“Never mind” he replied and continued, “What is the question you have for me?”
“Okay, about her, what’s her name?” I asked
“She’s Jane” he answered and asked, “Why do you ask?”
“Jane… hmmmm… There’s just a feeling that I can’t explain; let us see how it goes though.” I replied.
“Alright.” He replied.
“It is late already, can we call it a day?” I asked.
“Sure, I will call you at dawn. Good night Cee.” He answered.
“Alright. Good night Tee.” I responded and hung up.
