“What happened?” I asked.
“You look amazing like… you look totally astonishing.” He teased.
I laughed hard and for long.
“Don’t let me wake Pop up.” I said as I choked on my own laughter.
“Oh you’re home.” He replied.
“Yeah, for the semester holidays.” I responded.
“That’s good. When did you arrive?” he asked.
“Today.” I answered.
“Nice!” He exclaimed.
“Yeah.” I replied.
“I have really missed you.” He said.
“Well I used to miss you but I got used to missing you. You know after you told me that your dad declined, I was worried about how I would adjust. God so kind, I found a bosom friend in my roommate.” I replied.
“I am really sorry about that. I didn’t know how to face you; we had planned college so well. I knew the change altered all of it.” He said and asked, “Can you tell me about your roommate – my replacement?”
“No!” I yelled and continued, “Why would you say that?”
