Episode 86
Saturday morning began with morning devotion. The prayer was gratitude-filled. Pop and I intentionally didn’t wish Bee a happy birthday after we said ‘The Grace’. Pop went straight into the shower after telling Bee that he had to be at the office briefly. He skipped breakfast as well. The day went on smoothly like every other Saturday. I kept the kids busy with cartoon after they had showered. Pop returned at about half past six in the evening.
“Welcome Pop” I greeted as I opened the door to let him in.
“Where is she?” he whispered.
“She went home with the kids. She said she wouldn’t be long.” I whispered in a bid to mimic him.
“So why are we whispering?” he asked confused.
“Well, you started it.” I answered.
“You’re not serious” he said and continued, “I got to quickly take a shower before she returns.”
“Okay Pop.” I responded.
