“Guys!”I yelled to bring them back from wherever they went to and continued, “Well guys, meet Jake. Jake meet Pop, Bella, Aunt K, Derrick, Travis, Chad and Chelsea.” I said in one breathe.
“Wait, you mean ‘the friend’?” Bella asked as she ran a quick scan on his physique.
“Uhun.” I replied shyly and caught Jake all smiles.
“Who is Jake?” Aunt K asked sounding lost.
“The person I was going to tell you about the last time we saw.” I answered.
“Welcome Jake, please have your seat and let us eat; we have a lot of time to talk after dinner.” Pop said.
As we began to eat, Pop and I were communicating with our eyes and we also watched Bee eat. Minutes later, Bee decided to focus on the piece of chicken on her plate. While she was dissecting it, she discovered that her knife was being obstructed by something. When she dropped her cutlery set and made to use her fingers to discover what it was, I gave Pop a wink. Immediately, he dropped his cutlery set as well.
