“Alright.” I said.
I joined Travis on the sofa and silently prayed that Jake gets ready in time as we had already spent about twenty five minutes.
Twenty minutes later…
“I’m ready” Jake said as he walked into the living room.
In the split of a second, I quickly took in the view of freshness… he looked so take home to momma.
“Shall we?” Travis said out loud.
Apparently, he had said that and I didn’t respond. Jake flashed me one of his killer smiles.
“Yes we shall.” I answered and cleared my throat.

Some minutes later, we were at the front porch of my house.
“You said thirty” Bee challenged as she opened the door and we stepped in.
“I’m sorry but they had a hand in our lateness.” I replied as I pointed at Jake and Travis.
