“Hmmm…” I interrupted and apologized immediately, “I am sorry, continue.”
“I didn’t notice her at first as I was lost in thought wondering about how I would meet up. When the lecturer concluded and left the class, she greeted me and introduced herself. She said she observed that I was a transfer and she offered to help with catching up on lost classes. I didn’t hesitate as the song ‘Made a Way’ by Travis Greene played in my head. Soon we became friends and the rest is history cos we are dating now.” He concluded.
“How sweet of her!” I exclaimed and said, “I have a question to ask though.”
“I know right. I will answer your question but first things first… do you have a boyfriend? He replied and asked.
“Well, yes I do.” I replied shyly.
“Hmmm… tell me about him.” He said.
“Okay, Dianne invited me over to spend one of those mid-semester breaks with her family. So,…” I began.
“Wait! Wait!! So Pop allowed you to travel by yourself?!” he exclaimed.
“Uhun! What do you take me for? I am a big girl!” I replied.
“Hmmm… okay, I’m listening.” He said.
“So, she’s got a brother…” I continued.
“Are you dating her brother?” he interrupted again.
“Stop interrupting me!” I yelled.
