When Pop made a turn into our neighbourhood, I thought about Aunt K and our unfinished discussion. I concluded that I would pay her a visit much later.
Immediately Pop drove into the yard, I sent Dianne a message that I had arrived. I added that I was already missing her and reminded her to beep me once she arrived.
Bee, Chelsea and Chad came out to welcome us.
“Welcome honey.” She said and hugged Pop.
“Thanks darling.” Pop replied.
“Cee!” Chad and Chelsea screamed and ran to hug me.
After I hugged them, I watched the lovebirds and cleared my throat to remind Bee that I was present since she hadn’t welcomed me.
“Oh! Sorry Cee. My bad. Welcome sweet. How are you?” She said and asked.
“It’s fine. Thank you. I am fine and you.” I answered and asked.
“I am great. I am very happy to see you.” She replied.
“Hmmm…. it is good to be home. Wait… What is that smell?” I asked as I sniffed.
“Oh! No!! The shawarma!!!” She screamed and ran into the house.
“Shawarma??!!!” I exclaimed and followed suit leaving Pop to take in my luggage.
