“Where is Pop and Jake?” I whispered.

“Still in the garden.” Travis replied.

“I’ll be with you shortly. Give me five to ten minutes.” I said.

“Alright, it is fine. Take your time.” He responded.

Chad, Chelsea and I went into my room. I tucked them in my bed and read bedtime stories to them. When I was certain that they were fast asleep, I sneaked out of the room.

“I am back” I announced.

“Welcome back.” Travis said.

“Than you. So a surprise visit, uhn?” I asked.

“Yeah, remember I said I would pay you a visit soon…” he responded.

“No, you didn’t.” I said.

“I thought I did…” He replied.

“…it is fine.” I interrupted.

“So Pop and Bee hun?” he said.

“I knew it.” I uttered.

“Knew what?” He asked.

“During dinner?” I answered.

“Yeah, so… how did they meet cos I know Pop isn’t the social one?” He asked.

“Well, I had something to do about that…” I answered.

“How so? I don’t know you to be a matchmaker.” He responded.

“Now you know. Well, I met Bee way before I resumed college. I had just…” I narrated how we met and how I got her to meet Pop et al.

“Wow! You are something else.” He said.

“I know, right?” I replied.
