“Okay, I will tell you about it after he leaves.” She said and I smiled.

“I have to run now; I will give you a call.” He said after chatting with us for some minutes and stood up to take his leave.

“Bye brother.” Dianne said.

“Bye sister.” He replied.

I stood up and saw him off to the car. He gave me a warm hug neglecting onlookers. Apparently the ladies were crushing on him.

Hello! He’s mine!

I gave them a triumphant look..

Oh! He works out too… Lord Jesus!

“Later.” He whispered and I smiled.

I waved at him as he got into the car and drove off.

Immediately his car was out of sight, I dashed up the stairs.

“Okay.” I said immediately I got into the room.

‘Chill.” Dianne answered.

“I am waiting.” I said while panting.

“Okay. Prior to when he asked for your number, he asked what I knew about you during one of our conversations. Apparently, he had asked Pete about you when they went out for a drink. So I told him all I knew about you. He made his intentions towards you known to me. I told him to make a move and see where it leads. Then I observed that you had this spark every time you spoke to him and I was glad that the feeling was mutual. Last week, he said that he would ask you out this week. If you had told me that he was the one that called earlier, I would have given you a hint.”

“I see. Why didn’t you say anything all these while?” I asked.

“I didn’t want to get involved.” She answered.

“Awwwn; how sweet of you.” I said and lay in bed blushing.

I’ve got a boyfriend! Not just any guy.

Shortly, there was knock on the door.

“Are you expecting anyone?” I jumped up and asked Dianne.

“That should be Pete.” She answered.

“Oh okay.” I replied as I stood to open the door.
