I decided to call Aunt K on Skype since it had been a while we spoke.

“Aunt K!!!” I called.

“Sweetie” She answered.

I observed that she was in a noisy environment.

“Where are you at?” I asked.

“I am out. I will call you back in five minutes. Is that okay?” She responded.

“Alright. I will be waiting. Be safe.” I said and hung up.

About ten minutes, she called back.

“So, where were you at?” I asked immediately I accepted the call.

“I was just hanging out with a friend.” She answered after laughing for a while.

“Hmmm… A friend??? Is he single or married?” I asked.

I wasn’t ready to beat around the bush.

“Chill! Jeez! I didn’t tell you that the friend is a ‘he’.” She answered proving all defensive.

“Whichever way; is he single or married?” I asked.

“Whatever. He’s single.” She answered.

“That’s nice. For how long have you known him?” I began my interrogation.

“I didn’t know you called simply to interview me.” She answered.

“That’s not an answer…” I said.

“Fine. For about two months.” She answered.

“Hmmm… Does Josh…” I began.

“Uhm… can we talk much later, I am at work?” She interrupted.

“Okay… we can. Bye.” I replied and hung up.

I didn’t get to tell her why I called; I can always tell her another day…
