I went straight to the kitchen since I was famished. While dinner was in the microwave, I thought of what to do to pass time; then I remembered that I hadn’t spoken with Dianne. Then I decided to call her.

“Hello.” I said

“Hi Cee.” She replied.

“So what’s your explanation?” I asked.

“I am sorry; no explanation will suffice.” She admitted.

“It is all good. How was your trip though?” I replied and asked.

“It was fine and yours’? She answered.

“It was fine too. What time did you arrive?” I asked.

“That was some minutes past three.” She answered.

The microwave timer beeped.

“That’s my dinner; can we talk tomorrow?” I asked.

“Of course. Have a wonderful night rest.” She said.

“You too.” I replied and hung up.

While eating, Pop returned.

“Welcome Pop; I thought you wouldn’t come back.” I teased.

“I came back because of you.” He replied.

He came back because of me?!
