In The Hollow Of His Hand
Episode 17
They made a quick stop at the Dean of Student Affairs office to know how her grades were. He informed them that there was no academic record of any person with her name. It was then that they got to discover that she had been skipping classes. Immediately, she was taken home.
When they saw her resolution towards her choice of course, they gave in to her decision to study psychology. She applied to study Psychology in Trinity College and she was given admission.
“I chose Trinity college because…” She began then we were interrupted.

“Hello ladies” an unfamiliar guy greeted.
“Hi.” We responded in unison.
“Can I join you two?” He asked.
I wasn’t ready for a third company as I was interested in Dianne’s gist. I made to reply in the negative, when I heard…
“Of course” Dianne replied as her face lit.
I shrugged and said, “Sure”.
“Thanks ladies” he said as he sat and continued, “I am Pete.”
“I am Dianne and she is Charis.” Dianne responded while I smiled lightly.
We all exchanged handshakes.
In the Hollow of His Hand
The Basic Importance of Understanding the Times and Seasons
Since I wasn’t ready for a conversation, I let my eyes wander around the hall whilst I allowed Dianne do the talking.
“You’re freshmen, yeah?” He asked.
“Is it obvious?” She asked and she rolled her eyes.
“She looked cute doing that though” I thought to myself.
“Kind of” He replied smiling to reveal his perfect dentition.
“And you? What year are you?” She asked.
“I am in my third year. I am studying Mass Communication.”
“I am studying Psychology.” She replied.
“And you?” He asked.
It was when I saw that they were both looking at me that I realized the latter question was directed at me.
“Sorry, Geography.” I replied.
At this point, I thought of an exit strategy. I looked at my wristwatch and announced that the time was far spent and we needed to get our pretty sleep if we would attend church the next day. Dianne looked at me and got the cue.
“It was nice meeting you Pete. I look forward to seeing you again.” She said and stood up.
I followed suit.
“Can I have your digit? So we could talk on Messenger?” He asked.
“Okay. It is 40738…“ She replied.
“Bye Pete.” I called out.
“Bye ladies” He replied.
